What's new in Reliafy — October 2026

This month's release is one big thing: Reliafy now works inside your AI agent.

Use Reliafy from Claude and other AI agents

Reliafy is now an MCP server, the open standard AI agents use to call tools. Connect it once and your agent can work with your reliability models, datasets and block diagrams directly, using the same engine, conventions and checks as the app.

Connect in a minute

  • claude.ai (and the Claude desktop and mobile apps): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, enter https://reliafy.com/mcp, and sign in to Reliafy.

  • Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http reliafy https://reliafy.com/mcp

  • Other MCP clients: point them at https://reliafy.com/mcp. Setup and the full tool list are in the API docs.

Then just ask

  • "What's the reliability of my pump model at 2,000 hours, given it's already run 500?"
  • "Build an RBD of this conveyor: a drive, two redundant gearboxes, and 2 out of 3 rollers."
  • "Now put a second motor in parallel with the first and re-run it."
  • "What's the optimal replacement interval for this bearing, if a failure costs ten times a planned change?"

Built to be efficient for agents. Your agent edits a diagram in place instead of rebuilding it. One call can add a block in parallel, swap a model on every pump, or remove a stage and rejoin the series. It can start from a copy of any sample or of your own diagrams. Answers are exact wherever the maths allows, and they say plainly when a value is estimated, a unit doesn't match or a model is a placeholder. That means fewer tokens, fewer retries and fewer wrong answers.

Try it free, unlimited with Pro. A free account gets 20 tool calls a month, enough to see how it works on your own models and diagrams. Reliafy Pro (US$19/month) removes the limit and adds fitting and simulation from your agent. When you hit the limit, your agent can hand you an upgrade link.

You can see and revoke your agent's access any time under Settings → Connected apps.

Also new and improved

  • Download any diagram as Python: a standalone script that rebuilds the diagram with SurPyval and RePyability and gives the same numbers. It's free on every plan.
  • Availability results you keep: a simulation's result is saved with the diagram, shows each block's share of downtime, and knows when a change makes it out of date. Availability simulation is now part of Pro (or purchased credits). Everyone can still build diagrams and view saved results, or run them free in Python.
  • Share an RBD with anyone: public read-only links for block diagrams, like models and datasets.
  • Optimal overhaul interval for repairable systems fitted with Crow-AMSAA.
  • Start without a CSV: paste values, enter known parameters, or open a sample.
  • Coming from Weibull++? A "my censor column uses 1 = failed" checkbox.
  • Fleet alerts (Pro): an email when a fleet's expected failures cross a threshold or jump.
  • Two new worked examples: an instrument air system, as a design case and with repair times.
  • Exact long-run values for repairable diagrams, and a confidence band on the availability curve.
  • Faster: pages load only what they need, and the app starts quicker.
  • Fixes:
    • Standby diagrams now calculate.
    • Charts size their time axis to the system.
    • Duane growth models report correctly.
    • The assistant models redundant equipment in parallel.

As always, if something doesn't work the way you expect, reply to this email — it comes straight to me.
